MS1858E

MS1858E is a single-chip analog CVBS/S-Video to HDMI converter that integrates a 9-bit ADC for video, a 24-bit ADC for audio, and an advanced HDMI 1.3 transmitter.

The MS1858E features built-in 3D video decoding, high-quality OSD, and storage unit. It supports video scaling. The MS1858E also supports frame rate conversion and interlaced-to-progressive conversion.

The MS1858E supports both master mode and slave mode. In the master mode, the MS1858E is controlled by an internal controller and firmware, with customization of commonly used functions achieved through an external EEPROM. In the slave mode, the MS1858E can be controlled by an external controller through the IIC interface. The master/slave mode is determined by the state of the MCUSEL pin.
