MS9601A

MS9601A is a HDMI signal 3-in-1-out switcher chip with a maximum signal rate of 3Gbps. At this rate, MS9601A can support HDMI input signals with resolutions of 4K×2K@30Hz and 4K×2K(YCbCr420)@60Hz. The chip integrates switchers for both DDC and HPD channels, which switch simultaneously with the corresponding TMDS channel. The chip can be powered using the built-in voltage converters, eliminating the need for additional power circuits and saving PCB space and BOM cost. For greater flexibility, the chip can be controlled using either a controller with built-in codes or an external controller with an I2C interface. The chip has 6 configurable addresses, making it convenient for cascading applications. The input side of the HDMI features an equalizer, and the output side has adjustable driving capability to adapt to different lengths and qualities of cables, ensuring optimal performance for transmitting TMDS signals at high rates. Additionally, the chip supports channel switching using either an infrared remote control or buttons.
