The MS1861 chip integrates HDMI, LVDS, and digital video signal inputs, with output capability to drive MIPI (DSI-2) LVDS, Mini-LVDS, and TTL-type TFT-LCD displays. It supports filtering, image enhancement, sharpening, contrast adjustment, video scaling, cropping, rotation, internal character (graphics) overlay, frequency variation, and other processing of input video signals. It can also handle gamma correction and dithering algorithms based on the different characteristics of TFT-LCD screens, providing the required timing control signals for screen driving. The chip incorporates an ARM Cortex-M0 processor and includes expanded peripheral interfaces such as UART, I2C, SPI, PWM, GPIO, and ADC. With its built-in video, graphics, processor, and screen driving modules, the MS1861 single chip can be used for a variety of product solutions and find extensive applications in video signal reception, processing, and touch screen products.
