Overview:

CH449 is a differential signal analog switch chip designed for a 4×4 matrix. It incorporates 32 analog switches, divided into two groups, distributed across the intersections of two 4×4 signal channel matrices. Each analog switch can be independently opened or closed, allowing for arbitrary dynamic connections in the 4×4 differential signal channels. It is suitable for dynamic switching and combination of video or USB differential signals, providing four inputs and four outputs.

CH449 is available in two variants, namely CH449F and CH449X. CH449F employs both NMOS and PMOS to achieve analog switching, supporting rail-to-rail full-scale analog signals. CH449X, on the other hand, utilizes NMOS for analog switching, providing higher bandwidth but only supporting analog signals with voltage lower than VDD-1.4V. CH449X is particularly useful in signal exchange scenarios to prevent reverse current from external powered signals to VDD when the chip is powered off.
